Positano (Campanian: Pasitano) is a village and comune on the Amalfi Coast (Province of Salerno), in Campania, Italy, mainly in an enclave in the hills leading down to the coast. Considered the jewel of southern Italy's Amalfi Coast, Positano's picturesque layout is nothing short of iconic. You'll know it by its numerous colorful buildings perched on cliffs overlooking the Golfo di Salerno. Picture houses painted in vibrant apricot, peach, and lemon hues, cascading down the hillside as if poised to tumble into the magnificent sea below. This gallery is a "walking tour" of sorts, with sights and views from many of the most iconic streets & view points in the village.
